When you have bad support- Electrical Services

Published by Don Hester on

Here is a photo of an electrical service conductor support that has been leaking for many years.

The plywood sheathing of the roof is starting to delaminate and lose it’s strength from repeated wetting of the sheathing.

You can see where someone has inserted two pieces of plywood to roof brace to help keep it secured.

When re-roofing it may have been the best time to remove the brace and provide an alternative for securing the service conductors. These braces where very common in the 1950’s in the Wenatchee Valley.
