Sub Standards

A photo from a recent home inspection.

Here we have a distribution panel. The did not properly isolate the neutral and ground and the bar is bonded to the enclosure.

Then in case of working harder to do it wrong, they re-identified the white conductor (should be neutral) to ground which is not allowed. They could have left that as neutral and just re-identified the black conductor to ground and all would be good.

This is a easy correction but shows that someone was working on the panel that really should not.

If you find any errors or have additional information that would expand on any code, building standards or manufacturer requirements please let me know.
