Hanging Loose- Electrical Connections
Not all uncommon having a conduit pull a concentric ring out. Often during installation these concentric ring get slightly damaged making it vulnerable to pull out.
This leave the conductors exposed and subject to potential damage that can lead to shorting(arcing) or potential damage of equipment or shock.
Repair usually requires a “Conduit-Reducing Washer or Bushing” that is designed to reduce the size of the knockout in a steel outlet box or other metal enclosure. It is made of galvanized steel. It can also be used for indoor or exterior applications
