A little History on Electrical Transformers

We really do not think much about them but they are the backbone of our electrical transmission system…The Transformer.

Transformers are electrical equipment consisting of two or more coils of wire used to transfer electrical energy by means of a changing magnetic field, in this way we can change voltages up and down and convert AC to DC or vice versa.

I think it is very interesting to learn about the history of the electrical system and how we got to our modern system from the 1800’s.
